The base design for Morph is a relaxed sweatshirt featuring dropped shoulder seams and tapered sleeves. It features a neckband, hem band, and cuffs, which can be given an optional faux rib effect using a twin needle. The sweatshirt sits on the upper part of the hips, and its loose, roomy fit makes it easy to wear and style. The sweatshirt can be adapted to suit different moods and needs by changing the fabric: it feels bold and elevated in a zebra-print jacquard knit, while a brown Ponte with metallic rib details makes it a more subtle, chic essential.
This design was inspired by everyday life. The idea was to create something that could be thrown on at home and would feel comfortable for moving around all day, yet still look effortlessly put together. This balance of comfort and refinement reflects a love of timeless, elevated basics that feel good, work hard in everyday life, and make you feel confident that you are well dressed with minimal effort.
These instructions and patterns include four variations of the Morph shirt:
· Classic sweatshirt with cuffs, a hem band, and neck ribbing
· Turtleneck with side seam zippers
· Version with Pleated sleeves
· Cropped version with flap pockets

Fabric Recommendations:
Morph is best suited to medium-weight knit fabrics, such as French terry, sweatshirt fleece, jersey, or Ponte. For variations, the front, back, and sleeves may also be cut from woven fabrics, enabling you to create fun combinations of textures and prints. The neckband and cuffs must always be made from knitted fabrics with 20% spandex and good recovery. This allows the garment to be comfortably pulled over the head and hands while maintaining its shape over time. The hem band can be looser; here, you can even choose woven fabrics. If you opt for a woven hem, fold the excess fabric in the bodice into two small pleats at the front and back, close to the side seams, or gather the hem of the bodice.
